Review of Balloonicature

I just recieved a copy of a new CD-Rom for the balloon industry. Larry Moss's latest work "BALLOONICATURE". I met Larry at Clownarama/Balloonarama '99 here in Phoenix, Arizona, at that time he mentioned to me that he had been toying with the idea of creating balloon charicatures of famous people. That little conversation led to my creations of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln but for Larry it led to something greater.

Larry's first CD "Attack of the 50 Foot Demon" is a compendium of weaving knowledge, but it is also the first ever CD balloon tutorial and thus contains some minor glitches. "Balloonicature" is pristine. Easy to follow instructions, clear and understandable drawings to aid in the learning process, and exceptional photos to inspire the user to create on their own.

Unlike many tutorials I have read or watched, this CD doesn't claim to be the only way, it encourages the artist to develop his/her own style and leaves room for further growth. I truly enjoyed this disc and highly recommend it to people in the balloon party field. I should mention that I often sell balloon people/ charicatures to decor clients. Baseball players, Astronauts, Sci-fi characters, and of course former heads of state (Monica not included)(couldn't resist). This CD is the door to that added value for your decor or for the party twister to leave an even stronger impression on clients.

Just one more way to be the best balloon artist in your socks.
